Plantation Shutters

At QLD Blinds & Security, we have offered a wide variety of quality plantation shutters. Perfectly suited to the Queensland climate, indoor window shutters allow a free flow of air into your home, while protecting your furnishings and carpets from harsh sunlight. They create an additional layer of insulation over your windows, keeping the air in your home at a comfortable temperature. The Shutters operate by rotating the louvers to adjust the angle of the blinds, meaning you have full control over how much light is let in, and in which direction it shines.

All our Shutters are available as either hinged, sliding or bi-fold panels. We also offer two types of shutters, Imported and Australian Made.

Australian Made Coolum PVC Shutters

Coolum is our proudly Australian made PVC option that offers our customers a fast turn around time and is also for consumers who are seeking an Australian made product. Our Coolum product is pre-painted in our most popular colour White in a water based Semi-gloss finish and available in the 89mm blade and manufactured to the highest of standards. They offer superior insulation, water resistant, fire retardant and very easy to clean. We offer a 20 year warranty on our locally made shutters.

Imported PVC Shutters

Our Imported range offers a competitive price PVC Shutter that meets all of Qld Blinds & Security’s high construction standards. The imported range is very popular as it offers five standard colours in an elegant water based satin finish that gives a more matte look. The shutters offer superior insulation, water resistant, fire retardant and very easy to clean. And come with a 10 year warranty.

Aluminium Shutters
This product is ideal for external areas such as door openings, windows and patios. The alfresco imported shutters are streamlined and strong, combining form and function. Aluminium shutter’s proportions are based upon the range of timber shutters. The product is durable, has superior insulation, is solid and lightweight, and has low thermal connectivity. For added confidence, it is accompanied by a long-term warranty.
